Care Guide

Upon receiving your package, open the box promptly and carefully take the plant out and allow it to catch some fresh air.

If your plant is wire wrapped, carefully twist the plant clockwise till it comes loose.

Give the plant a good 30 minutes soak in a bowl of room-temperature water to help it rehydrate. After soaking, follow the guidelines below.

To reattach the plant to the wire and place it back into its vessel, gently twist it counterclockwise to put it back into position.

WATER 💦

Fully soak the entire plant upside down in a bowl of room-temperature water for 30 to 60 minutes once every 7-10 days.

Gently shake and remove excess water and let it dry upside down (very important!) on a paper towel in a bright spot with good air circulation.

You can mist around your plant 2-3 times a week if needed but never mist or drip water directly in the center of the plant as that can lead to root rot.

Do not keep the plant constantly wet or moist and only place it back in its vessel when it is completely dry.

LIGHT ☀️

Bright, indirect, or filtered light is ideal for optimal growth. While morning sun is beneficial, extended exposure to hot afternoon sun for more than a couple of hours can dehydrate the plant and deplete its moisture.

GROOMING ✂️

Groom your plant by removing dead or dried leaves. If the tips have dried out, you can cut the dried area off. Keep the plant looking fresh with a monthly grooming. *Pro tip, trim leaves at an angle to make it look more natural.

***Air plants absorb moisture and nutrients through their leaves, so they should never be planted in soil. Doing so will cause the plant to rot and eventually die.***
